This week's events in IUGFM:
Thinking about Faith will not meet this week, but will resume on June 14th.
Weekly Prayer:
This Wednesday, June 8, we meet in the Poplar Room (please note the change!) at the Memorial Union at 8:00 a.m. Christ arose on the 3rd day at dawn; you can sleep more than a full hour after sunrise and still make it to prayer on time!
Discussion Group:
Our topical Bible study with rotating leadership will meet again on Thursday, June 9, at 7 p.m. We'll meet at Vanessa B's house at 444 E 3rd St, Apt 106 (47401), Burnham Rentals, on the SW corner of 3rd & Dunn. Vanessa says, "Parking is the tricky part... Street parking is the only option on a Thursday. There's usually space on Grant & possibly on 2nd." Bring your favorite snack to share!
Heidi Torres will lead discussion from Bernard of Clairvaux. Kerilyn will do an introduction on him and his work, then we will discuss the reading. You will want to not only read his writings, but the attending Bible selection, questions, exercises and reflection, as they will provide a framework for our discussion. Read it here!
Want to take a turn leading or hosting? Pick a reading and Email Sadie if you'd like to step up. June 23rd is still open!
